Recording student presentations directly to Titanfiles - with a web cam and free software you can record student presentations directly to the students Titanfiles account, which they can then share with you and anyone else they choose.

Inserting a video or audio file from Titanfiles into a D2L topic. Multimedia files which are store in your Titanfiles account can be inserted in D2L Topics. (2011 update: This still works but there are more ways to embed a file into a D2L topic in version 9.1)

Multimedia Behavior in D2L (PDF 256K) Handout for a presentation to the 2006 International D2L users conference. D2L includes several methods for including a variety of types of multimedia in course sites... some work, and some don't. We experimented with nine media types in nine combinations of operating system and browser. (2011 update: D2L handles a greater variety of media a lot better now.)
