Cylindrical Cameras

We also made cameras out of La Choy noodle cans and Pringles cans.

Here is a picture of the interior of the cans being painted in my garage.

On the cylindrical and matchbook cameras, we used electron microscope apertures for pinholes. Here I am putting them in mounts so they can be attached to cameras.

Here we are making the cylindrical cameras.
(image taken with .5mm pinhole 5" from 4"x 5" photographic paper, 1 hour exposure. The actual camera making only took about 30 minutes and classroom was empty for the rest of the time)
