Curved film plane cameras
This was taken on 4 x 5 inch paper in a camera made from a La Choy Noodle can, 3 inches in diameter.
The camera was bumped during the exposure resulting in the double image.
Because pinhole cameras don't form an image by focusing, it doesn't matter how far the pinhole is from the film so the film plane can be curved and everything will still be "in focus." A visual effect of the curved film plane is that straight horizontal lines are distorted to curve in the image.
