Flat film plane cameras This was taken with a 4 x 5 inch camera of 10 inch focal length. Because the focal length is twice the previous camera's, objects are magnified twice the size, the angle of view is half. A visual consequence is that space seems to be compressed, that is, the planetarium appears to be closer to the building behind it.
