Desire2Learn (D2L) a suite of software tools to manage content and communication is available at no cost to all faculty and staff at UW Oshkosh. It is managed by a UW System wide utility hosted at the Department of Information Technology at UW Madison.
Students access course
materials via a standard web browser. Course web sites can provide students
with a customized and personalize online learning experience. They can
include a variety of features including the following:
• A home page and web site for each course
• Password protection and authentication for enrolled students
• Online quizzes, surveys and tests
• Threaded discussions and chat groups
• Document storage, sharing and management
• A course event calendar
• A grade book
To
log on to Desire2Learn
Your username and password are the same as your UW Oshkosh email username and
password.
If you are identified as an instructor, there will be a link to the on-line instructors guide under Instructor Resources on your D2L home page. (Contact AnnMarie Johnson, 920-424-2210, if you are an instructor and don't have a My Admin Tools section) See also the links to the left for information on using D2L.

Your course sites are automatically created by the Titanweb system. They will be listed on your D2L home page. Students will be automatically added to the D2L site roster when they register for your course.
