Lighting controls in Clow lecture halls

The lights in the Clow lecture halls are controlled by rotary switches located in the stage area and in the projection booths. In addition there is a switch in the projection booth, to the right of the rotary switches, which turns on three of the fluorescent fixtures.

There are switches to the side of the entrances which control lights in the rear of the room near the entrances

Each rotary switch has twelve positions, which control twelve different light groups. (see diagram below)

In order to turn a particular light group on, set the left hand switch at the appropriate number and press the dial.

In order to turn a particular light group off, set the right hand switch at the appropriate number and press the dial.

Occasionally, the switch will need to be reset by rotating it all the way to 12, then all the way back to 1, and then setting it to the number you which to control.
