| "Sea
of green and blue"; flannel quilt for king bed, bedspread size.
Over 800 4" squares of about 60 different fabrics, alternating
blue and green. Machine pieced. Commercially machine quilted with
a wave pattern.

"Iris"
wallhanging quilt. My first quilt; it's all applique. The quilting
was done by hand on the black "lead." At the time, I didn't
own a sewing machine. I love the stained glass look, but I so hated
sewing this by hand that I can't stand the thought of working on another
one. Gave to my parents, who have a stained
glass studio. |
 "First
quilt" approx 4' x 6'. My first complete patchwork quilt, made
as the first quilt for a newborn baby. Awarded an Honorable Mention
at the 2000 Lakeside Quilter's show. The second image shows the quilting:
the front was monofilament (invisible) while the back was a rainbow
thread. |
| "Flags."
Fabric on paper.
|
10
baby afghans I crocheted for The
Christ Child Society (Oshkosh chapter). My favorite is the top
one, concentric squares (green, blue, green, blue).

Two of many quilt stencil postcards I made during a lovely weekend
in October. I fell in love with eyelets this weekend. |
|
I stamped six postcards, cut them into 24 1" squares, then
put them back together as a series of "quilts." |
