How do I prepare for the end of a semester

Backup (export) your gradebook

As a safety measure, you should backup (export) the online gradebook.

1. Select Grades: Import/Export
2. Follow the onscreen directions. Generally, the default options are what most people want.
3. You may want to rename the file to reflect the course name and semester.
4. You can open this file within Excel by using the import data feature.

Print and save posts

1. Go into the topic you want to save or print.
2. Place a check next to the messages you want to print or save.
3. Select the print icon. A new window will pop up.
4. To print, select File: Print in your browser.
5. To save, highlight and then choose Edit: Copy. Paste into Word and save.
