If you need help with a specific course, please give us your 6-digit course OU# when emailing or calling. The OU# (organizational unit number) is a unique identifier D2L creates for your course. It is not the same as the 5-digit course number used by TitanWeb/Peoplesoft. You can find the OU# in three places.

Help for students! widget

  • Go to your course.
  • In the upper right of the homepage, look for the Help for students! widget. The 6-digit OU# is at the bottom.

Course Information

  • Go to your course.
  • Go to Edit Course in the upper right.
  • Go to Course Offering Information, the first link.
  • The 6-digit OU# is part of the Course Offering Path.

Browser address field

  1. Go to your course.
  2. Look at the address (URL) at the top of the browser.
  3. The 6-digit OU# is at the very end of the long course URL. (Be sure you are in your course; the OU# for the homepage/MyHome is 7061.)
