You can create links to other web pages anywhere you have the editor--news, content, discussions, etc.
- Open the web page to which you want to link in a separate tab or window. Copy the URL/address.
- In the Content Editor, select
Advanced tab at the top of the editor.
- Write your text. When you get to the point at which you want to link to a webpage, select
QuickLink, near the end of the second row of icons at the top of the editor.
- In the popup window, select the category dropdown menu and choose URL.
- The window will refresh.
- Remove the http:// from the URL field. (Note, do not remove the http:// if you are typing in your URL. It must be there, but only once.)
- Paste your URL/address in the URL field.
- Enter the link caption. This is the text readers will select to go to the web page. Be relevant--don't use click here or the page's URL. Describe the web page, just like other web sites do when linking.

- Leave the option for where it opens in to the default: Same Frame for ease of use and accessibility.
- Select Insert in the lower right.
- Your link caption will appear where your cursor was.
