Student did not come through from D2L

Image:notind2l.gif
Most likely, the student dropped the course after the grade roster was created by the Registrar’s Office. Return to the grade roster. Try leaving the grade blank; if the student's drop has been processed, the system will accept the submission. If the student is still officially enrolled, another error message will appear that all students' grade must be populated prior to approving the grades. Chage the roster status back to Ready to Grade, enter a grade for the student and save the roster again. Then, change the roster status to Submit to Registrar and save again.

Student is not in the SIS grade roster

Typically, this warning (which also may not include the student's name) is due to manually adding a student to your D2L site. If the student is not officially registered for the course, you cannot enter a grade in the roster for him/her. If you believe the student was officially registered and does not appear on the roster, contact the Registrar's Office. NOTE: We did find an instance of this error when the student did appear on the TitanWeb grade roster and his grade was imported properly. If this happens to you, please report it to AnnMarie; in your email, include the course name, Class#, OU# (How do I find the course OU#?), student name, and student TitanID# as listed in the error message.

Grade entry errors

If your grading scheme contains punctuation or invalid letters, you will get an error when you try to save the grade roster. You can manually adjust these entries on the Grade Roster or return to D2L, fix your grading scheme, and export again. See How do I setup a grade scheme.

Individual grade already posted

A D2L grade will not overlay already-posted grades. The student's grade from D2L will appear to be imported. However, the official grade (the one that appears on the student record) will not actually change.

Once grades have been officially posted by the Registrar’s Office (daily at 6:00 pm), you no longer are able to import grades.
