How do I export grades to Excel
From D2L Wiki
When exporting grades from D2L to Excel you will notice that the leading zeroes from StudentID numbers have disappeared, this prevents you from importing the grades back into D2L. The following method will allow Excel to accept the leading zeroes.
PC
- Go to the Grades Section in your course
- Select the
button
- Click
- A window should appear telling you that your file is ready to download, download the file
- The file should open in Excel
- Open a new Excel Workbook
- Select Data from the top toolbar
- Select Import External Data (or Get External Data for Excel 2007)
- Select Import Data (or Import Data from Text for Excel 2007)
- Find the file and select it, click open
- The Text Import Wizard should open
- Select
- Select the Comma checkbox and select next
- Select the Text option and select finish
- A window will open asking you into which cells you would like the text placed, hit
Mac
- Go to the Grades Section in your course
